DESCRIPTION:Dr. Thiel will be presenting her poster on “Addressing Health Literacy Among Arab Immigrant Women in the US” \nBackground- Arab women in the U.S. face notable reproductive healthcare barriers\, including cultural stigmas\, language challenges\, and low menopause literacy. As Dr. Thiel notes\, menopause remains a taboo topic\, leading to underreported symptoms and inadequate care. These factors contribute to limited access to accurate information and appropriate healthcare support during the menopausal transition. \nThis study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a culturally tailored\, Arabic-language menopause health literacy webinar in improving both menopause and digital health literacy among Arab women.
